Mack Wilberg Sheet Music for Traditional Hymn Arrangement
A charming setting with its text excerpted from the famous Cecil Alexander poem. Syncopation gives it a contemporary style, while some staccato writing adds to its color. It includes unison, 2-part harmony, occasionally a counter-melody for the lower part, and some 3 part divisi to emphasize the climatic moments. Featured on the 2009 ACDA National Reading Session.
